About Your Role:

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Product Management professional who is passionate about technology. This role is responsible for developing and managing business internet access, and Managed Network Services products for sale in the commercial marketplace.  It will report to the Product Director.  The position is responsible for complete product lifecycle management, including  product definition, roadmap. product marketing content, competitive positioning, market management,  pricing, and financial and functional performance, reporting; and product development of new features and services, including market needs assessment, technical analysis, business case development, product documentation and marketing content, coordination of back-office support process development, and product or feature  launch.  Individual must drive results by aligning and leading cross functional teams to implement scalable product solutions that meet business objectives. Performance will be largely measured in terms of product margin, time to market, and market penetration.

About Your Role:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the product line life cycle and ensure product profitability Internet suite of services and managed network services
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product development and innovation.
  • Work closely with Director to develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for member experience initiatives.
  • Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and results to Director and other stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and drive product improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all experience-related product inquiries and issues from Spectrotel Members.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and optimization in member experience and product development.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and identify areas for growth and enhancement.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of the product roadmap and new product introduction and release activities
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure a go-to-market plan that achieves take rate and revenue objectives and adds value to the Spectrotel portfolio
  • Analyze and maintain product databases used for proposals, order entry, billing, and inventory.
  • Review and analyze product features and pricing as necessary against customer needs and competitive services
  • Define product and technical requirements as needed.
  • Work closely with marketing and Product Directors to develop product messaging that differentiates products and services from others in the marketplace
  • Assist the Product Director as needed to ensure product success

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager in B2B products or services preferably.
  • Candidate must have experience in telecommunications. A plus includes experience in technological areas like managed SD-WAN, and other similar advanced services.
  • Ideal candidates must be self-motivated with a proven track record in product development and management within a telecommunications service or managed networks services environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively with project management tools and O365 and have strong fluency with Excel.
  • Experience with Agile, Confluence, and Jira product management tools and methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a balanced blend of business and technical savvy.
  • Experience building and maintaining dynamic pricing and analysis models is a plus.
  • Project Management experience is preferred.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload while managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude to understand product dynamics and recommend product enhancements.
